Quick Hello!

Well hello everybody! I know its been a HOT minute since I have been active on any of my social media sites (p.s. make sure you follow of them) Let me tell you this summer has been not as expected. Nothing serious just not expected. I am someone that gets REALLY affect by the unexpected. Sooooo when that happens I control what I can and let go of what isn't too urgent.

Unfortunately, that meant I let all my social media life go down the loo. I felt horrible for doing that, but I wanted to spend time with my family and to devote my time to them. I am back and ready to conquer this fall! I have somethings in the work and I can not wait to share them with you! I wanted to post a quick blog letting you all know that I am here and ready to work!

Fashion and Beauty Wishlist| June 2017

This month I have fallen in love with several fashion and beauty items and I have officially added them to my wishlist for 2017. I normally keep this list private, but I decided to share it with all of you! If you all enjoy this I will continue it! So please remember to leave a comment letting me know! 

First up is jump suits! I blame Mrs. Cassie Rae and Brittany Sjoren for this recent obsession. The one they are both obsessed with is this jumpsuit from the Loft. Doesn't it look super comfy?! I would wear this everyday! It is actually on sale right now for 50% off!

Second is the Chanel Soleil Tan De Chanel. Ok I have to be honest here...this has been on my wishlist for FOREVER! I just always forget about it until the summer time or I watch MakeupbyTiffanyD. She always mentions. I have swatched this product and OMG it is AMAZING! I always talk myself out of this product because it is a cream product. Cream face products scare me. I am determined to buy this item this year! 

OMG this next fashion item will soon by mine! I am OBSESSED with slides! I remember seeing my older brothers with the COOLEST Adidas slides and I wanted them SOOO bad. I still want the Adidas slides, but this Aldo  slide is so pretty! I love that they have classed up a super comfy shoe. 

Finally, is the Urban Decay NAKED Heat palette! I have the original palette and to be honest...I never use it. I know shame on me...but this palette I will definetly use! The warm tones are just screaming my name! I will have this item by the end of the summer!

Sensetive Teeth| At Home Whitening

I am a huge fan of coffee, sweet iced tea and red wine! Pretty much everything that stains your teeth...so when Smile Brilliant reached out to me I jumped on the opportunity. June Monthly Goals

Holy cow! How is it June??!! It is officially the summer now. I know I have not been consistent with sharing my goals, but I have been writing them down in my notebook!So that is something right?? Lets jump right into my personal goals!

 Personal Goals June 2017

1. Be consistent with my goals. Keep track of them and stay true to me
2. Write in my gratitude journal daily and be honest.
3. Try to meal prep
4. No sugar after 8:00pm
5. Daily walks with dogs
6. Try to make a few vegan/vegetarian meals! 
7. Budget 

I feel like all of those goals are achievable! To be honest though I am nervous for the no sugar after 8:00pm. I start to crave Captain Crunch around 9:30pm every night...so we shall see! I am actually excited to make vegan/vegetarian meals. I have always wanted to be a vegan, but my love for cheese is too real! So I try to make vegan meals here and there!

I am always nervous to share my side hustle goals because I am human and sometime venture off my set path. I have already implemented some of my goals and I have seen results! Here are my side hustle goals!

1. Grow on my Instagram! I started with 352 and I want to end the month with 500. I am currently at 405(though this might have changed...I lose followers like crazy)
2. Post videos on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday
3. Post blogs on Monday and Friday( maybe with a few Wednesday post)
4. Pre-film four videos a week
5. Pre-blog at least one blog a week
6. Do at least one collab video (already in the works!)
7. Meet with the local bloggers here in town! 

I feel like all of these are achievable as well! I just need to buckle down and do it! The month has just started and I am already seeing results. I know only having 405 followers on Instagram isn't much, but to me it is a HUGE accomplishment! I have been meaning to meet with Lily from http://www.beautywithlily.com/ for months now. So, Lily if you are reading this lets make it happen!

My Make Up Collection| ColourPop Super Shock Shadows Neutrals| Part One

I am sure by now most of you have heard of ColourPop. It has taken the beauty world by storm. I remember hearing about ColourPop from CoffeebreakwithDani around three years ago. Back than Colourpop only made Super Shock Shadows. I was hooked from day one!

After looking at my collection I have decided to make a Colourpop Super Shock Shadow series on my blog where I swatch ever single Super Shock Shadow I own and tell you about it. I figured the best way to start this series is with my favorite neutrals. So grab a snack and cuddle up in a blanket because here we go!!

First lets start with MY FAVORITE Colourpop shadow ever and that shadow is Game Face. The Colourpop site describes Game Face like this:

• " Prepare to get rowdy with an Ultra-Metallic rich copper" Game Face is in the Ultra-metallic finish category and is considered a orange/coral shade category

I consider that description to be quite accurate. I should mention that Colourpop is hands down the best at great product descriptions. Here is my own personal descriptions of Game Face:

• Super rich creamy liquefied penny. Your go to shadow all October long.

I seriously tell people this. Not joking. Game Face is the CREAMIEST (yes I hate this word as well) Super Shock Shadow ever! It is literally what I think heaven feels. You can wear Game face alone or with a nice deep chocolate brown in the crease. If you decided to buy just one thing from this blog I HIGHLY recommend you get Game Face. You know where I am going with this...it is a GAME CHANGER haha 

I just noticed that the next shadow I am about to mention is one of my least favorite shadows. But when this shadow was released the swatches were to die for! The next shadow is Nillionaire. Here is how Colourpop describes it:

• "You'll be looking rich in this bronze with pink and gold Ultra Glitter" Nillionaire is in the Ultra-Glitter finish category and is considered a gold in the shade category

Once again quite accurate but her is my description:

• The best bronzee pink shadow that will deepen any summer look

Since this shade is an Ultra-Glitter finish you know what means....the dreaded...FALL OUT. I do not use this shadow because of the fall out and I have thought about getting rid of it. I have ruined several make up looks because of this shadow. If you are fine with applying your foundation after you do your eyes by all means purchase this shadow, but if you are like me and prefer to apply your foundation first this shadow may give you a few headaches.

So this next shadow was originally a holiday only shade but it was such an amazing shade they decided to listen to their customers and bring this shade back as a permanent shadow. The next shadow is La La  and here is the description from the Colourpop site:

•   "Fa la la la la - la la - ka ching: an ultra-glittery soft copper" La La is in the Ultra-Glitter finish category is considered a Pinks and gold shade

I love the Fa la la part because it came out during the holiday season. My description is:

• The best mixture of copper and rose gold! 

Yes that simple. It is the BEST rose gold shade. This is why this shadow is a best seller...it is perfect! This shadow is a glittery shadow but it does not have fall out! So not all Ultra-Glitters have fall out just a few.

Ok y'all we are now going to talk about my second favorite Colourpop shadow and EVERY time I share this shadow I have several people comment "I need that shadow in my life"!  Sequin from Colourpop is a BEAUTIFUL shadow. Colourpop made one of the best descriptions for this shadow:

• " A rosy penny copper with multi-dimensional Ultra-Glitter finish. Find a boy, pick him up, all day long You'll get good.... "Sequin is in the Ultra-Glitter finish and is considered a Pinks and gold shade

 Yup. I told you. It is amazing! My description will do no justice to this. But I will try:

• A pink rose dipped in gold Tinker Bell fairy dust.

 Yup. That was nothing compared to Colourpops'. I tried. You may be wondering what is the difference between La La and Sequin and the answer is La La is more golden and Sequin is has a deeper pink. Both are amazing with no fall out!

Next up is Boy Band!

• " No one will tell you “Bye, Bye, Bye” in this Ultra-Metallic red copper" Boy Band is in the Ultra-Metallic finish and is considered a neutrals shade

The best boy band ever was N'SYNC, so I find this description to be AMAZING! I would describe it this way

• Copper red magic! 

This one is similar to Game Face but just a deeper red! I am hoping you can tell how PIGMENTED the Ultra-Metallics are. It is out of this world amazing!

The last shadow for this post is kinda a bummer because you can no longer purchase it and I do not know the details on it. So hopefully my description does it justice!

Summer Lovin' has been released several times during its lifetime. It is considered to be a tie-dye color. When you first get it you will see several shades of bronze,copper and champagne. Kinda of how you would like your summer to go...lots of champagne by the pool! I am going to say this is a Ultra-Glitter finish. It is not as pigmented as an Ultra-Metallic. If it is released I do suggest you purchase it! It is a nice color to have in  my collection.

Alright, I have decided to split these posts up. I have too much to say about Colourpop. I really LOVE this company. They always put the customer first and they listen to our suggestions. My only issue with Colourpop is that my wallet can not keep up! They are always coming out with new products! I will say Colourpop sells everything at a ridiculously good price! Everything ranges from $5.00-$10.00. You can not beat that! Plus free domestic shipping after $30.00! If you haven't tried Colourpop I highly recommend that you do! Who is Amiee? 10 Fun Facts About Me

Happy May! I haven't published a blog in almost three months. I apologize for that, but I am back and ready to write! I thought I would take it easy and do a fun facts about me. So here we go! Ten facts about me...Amiee!

1. I have crooked pinkys. My grandfather had crooked pinkys and so does my dad. When I was little I used to trick my friends into thinking I could actually bend them that way. They totally believed me! I felt super cool until one friend asked me to straighten and well I couldn't. 

2. I am a TV junkie! I love a TON of TV shows and now with Netflix I find a new show every week. I love all types of shows. Here are a few that I love: Scandal, The Good Place, iZombie, Gilmore Girls, Friends and Master Chef Junior. 

3. Cows are my favorite animals. I think it is awesome they can pick their nose with their tongue! 

4. Since cows are my favorite animals I gave up eating beef when I was 13. I am proud to say I am a Texas resident and I have never eaten a steak! 

5. I grew up in New Mexico. It truly is the Land of Enchantment. You can not beat a New Mexico sunset! 

6. My favorite color has changed three times in my life. At first it was green than it was red and now it is purple. 

7. I was 99.999% positive I was going to be Sailor Jupiter. I kept my bangs until I was 13,wore pink rose earrings, loved the color green and tried to learn how to cook. I was determined to be Sailor Jupiter. Sadly, when I turned 13 I was not chosen to be Sailor Jupiter :), so I got rid of the bangs and fell in love with the color red...maybe I was Sailor Mars in a past life???

8. I have always had one dream job and that dream job is to own a bakery/coffee shop/ used bookstore. 

9. I can make a MEAN grilled cheese! They are probably the unhealthiest thing to eat, but I am telling you my grilled cheeses are AMAZING!

10. If i know I am never going to meet you again I will not correct you on the pronunciation on my name. My name is pronounced Ah-Me not Amy. I am hoping we will all one day meet so, hello! I am Amiee and welcome to my blog!

Friday Obsession: Binge Watch on Netflix

Woot! Woot it is Friday! So this week I discovered a new Netflix Original that I was obsessed with and was very sad to finish it because I CRAVED more! Instead of telling you just one show I have decided to tell you four shows to binge watch this weekend! Because why not!



1. Santa Clarita Diet (Netflix Original)

This is the show I binged watched this week. It only has 10 episodes and trust me you will be left wanting more. I originally saw the trailer of this show about two weeks ago on my Netflix and I immediately wanted to watch it. I will be honest most Netflix Originals give me this feeling...but this one has Drew Barrymore! SCD is quirky and witty. It made me laugh every episode. Drew Barrymore is a perfect actress to portray Shelia. Shelia has brains and guts and her husband played by Timothy Olyphant is sweet and understanding. SCD is like iZombie and the Walking Dead with a splash of comedy. Rumors are season two will be release in November
*Warning if you can't handle vomit and blood you might want to not eat while watching some episodes*

2. Glitch

Glicth is originally an Australian show and Netflix picked it up. Glitch is very unique and very addicting. It will confuse you and make you question everything. It has a Lost feel to it. With only six episodes you will watch this show quickly. Since this show is an Australian show it is very refreshing to see new actors and actresses. I don't know about you but when I see a familiar face I find it very difficult to separate them from what I have previously seen them in. If you like shows that make you think you will enjoy this show for sure! Season two is rumored to be in production.

3. Troll Hunter (Netflix Original)

Yes a cartoon! I am serious this show is awesome! If you liked How to Train a Dragon than you will love this show. It will give you all the emotions. For a being a cartoon is has a lot of depth. Kelsey Grammar is troll and it is seriously fantastic because the troll acts just like Fraiser. With 27 episodes you will have your weekend planned! Sadly, the main characters voice was voiced by Anton Yelchin who passed away in 2016. He was a great actor and was the perfect voice for Jim the main character. Rumor has is that season two will be out before the end of 2017. I am interested to see who will replace Anton Yelchin.

4. Marco Polo (Netflix Original)

If you are a history junkie you will love this show! This show is about Marco Polo and his time with ruler Kublai Khan. I found it fascinating. If you like Games of Thrones defiantly check it out! Good thing about this show is that it has two seasons on Netflix. The bad thing is that Netflix cancelled this show. I do not know why. I was devastated when found this information out. It is still worthy of a Netflix binge though!

February Monthly Goals

So I am a little late to the game in posting this blog…but that is ok! This blog will be quick because February is already half way over! Oops…

     1.I want to pre-blog and pre-film at least a week in advance- Work got crazy in January and I was not prepared for it! My blog and Youtube channel suffered from it. I am truly passionate about this so I need to truly put in the work. 

      2.Create a cleaning habit- I need to get in the habit of cleaning my house. This will help with my mental health and my physical health. Allergy season is upon us and cleaning the house consistently will help me tremendously.

      3.Declutter the clutter- I am one of those people…I read the book…The Life-changing Magic of   Tidying Up . I am thinking of creating a blog post just about this book. Actually, I will be doing a Declutter the Clutter series on both Youtube and the blog. Stay tuned!

      4.Budgeting- I am the WORST at saving my money. I see a sale and I am like buy it all. I see the dreaded words LIMITED EDITION and I literally lose my mind. I am currently looking into budgeting ideas, so let me know what you do!

      5.Exercise- I am a dancer so I do get exercise at my weekly rehearsal and when teach. It is not enough though. I was some muscle! This weekend I am going to by weights (I budgeted for it) and a medicine ball…I think they are called that…

Friday Obsession: Cleaning Community

Yay! It is Friday…finally! I hope you all have had a great week! I have for sure because I discovered a new community on Youtube and I am in love!!!

You may be wondering why I find cleaning videos so fantastic…because trust me I didn’t understand the hype either. Who finds cleaning actually enjoyable?! Well I won’t say I find it enjoyable I find it very therapeutic and fulfilling. Seriously! I have never been more motivated to clean, budget, declutter or DIY my entire life! I have started incorporating some tips and habits from the channels I have been watching and I already see a difference in my house! It is fun and easy! Not joking!

One of the main things I have started doing is Power Hour…this will change your life! This video idea was created by Style Mom XO and what you do is for one hour and one hour only you create a list of household chores and complete that list in one hour. No social media, no TV, no phone, nothing! It is awesome how much these ladies get done in one hour!

I had my first Power Hour this week and I accomplished a lot. My list of chores was wash sheets, wash towels, sort laundry, put away clean laundry, put away new clothes, clean fan, clean dishes and pick up the vanity. I was successful in about 95% of this. I also did not do this alone…Ezekiel doesn’t know this but my first Power Hour included him as well! He did all the dishes and loaded the dishwasher. The 5% I didn’t finish was picking up my vanity. I got distracted with my make up! *Signs of a true make up junkie*
